Alex was born in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada, and grew up in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. He holds an M.A. from Bob Jones University, in Greenville South Carolina, where his studies included radio production. Broadcasting the gospel on radio has been a part of his pastoral and church planting ministry for many years.
Alex and his wife Joyce make their home in Prince Edward Island, Canada, where they attend the Charlottetown Bible Chapel. They have four sons.
In retirement, Alex continues his radio broadcasting each weekday with a one minute inspirational/evangelistic program called Just A Minute. He also does visitation of the sick and needy, believing that the greatest thing a person can do for others is to point them to Jesus. To learn more about Alex and his ministry visit toolsforhope.com
